Advertising Information

Ripped From The Crypt doesn’t really like the idea of advertising. However due to the cost of bandwidth and other resources we have to be realistic. We are non-profit and our pockets are only so deep so we will be looking at ways to keep the site running and to expand and develop it to suit your needs.

Ripped From The Crypt will only accept advertising that we believe is of genuine interest to our reader base and is of a high enough quality. After all why would we want to display banners that irritate our users, are nothing to do with horror and lower the quality of the site as a whole.

Currently we are tentatively trialing Amazon’s systems. A banner in select places for their DVDs and a little text link on each review – because we figure if you liked the review maybe you might want to buy the film or the book. We don’t feel this diminishes your experience of the site and may actually be of use to a fair few of you.
